On weekends during regular hours, for no extra charge, they make house calls to repair air conditioners, plumbing and heating and appliance repairs. But that's just for starters. For example: When a customer called to arrange service for her 12-year old washing machine, the technician suggested that buying a new washer might be the simplest solution. He mentioned the situation to Greenway CEO, Whit Greenway, who recommended he call the customer back and make a complimentary house call just to double check. The technician made the call and repaired the washer free of charge. The delighted customer is still using the same washer today. During a particularly hot, muggy spell this summer, Wendy's home air conditioner went out.
